I don't know the first thing about hedgehogs but would like to buy one. Will you explain how to care for them?
Absolutely! We love selling to first time hedgehog owners! We have 7 little kids and so our hedgehogs are trained to be good around amateur owners. We are more than happy to answer any questions and are available to contact before and after your purchase!

Don't hedgehogs hurt to hold?
It depends on the hedgehog. We have trained ours to tolerate little hands and not "quill up" when being handled. Obviously if they spook, they will momentarily but overall, our hedgehogs are trained to lay their quills down and be handled without hurting their handlers.

How much is the deposit?
Deposits are $50 and it goes to the total of your prince/princess. Deposits are nonrefundable.

How much are the hoglets?
Males are $200 and Females are $250.

What will they be eating when they come home with me?
We have them completely weaned from mom by the time they go home with you. They will be on lightly crushed kitten food and will have experienced eating mealworms(they love them).

Do I need a lot to get them set up?
We recommend an enclosure that they cannot climb (otherwise they will break their legs and won't make it). We have used clear totes and they work great! A wheel is important, we have our recommendations we can discuss. They also need bedding (ASPEN bedding, not any other wood), we don't use fleece because of the smell that lingers even after washing. A water and food bowl are also essential. And a hut/enclosure of some sort.
